great stuff guys.
I am familiar with the first 2 steps but the third one "F3 rebuild translator" is new to me", can you explain what it does?
Does it scans for the bad sectors that were in the NG-LIST? before it was cleared?

Some F3 hdds translator can be fixed by using "clear nglist, then use m0,6,2,,,,,22",and repair well. But more and more F3 hdds can not be fix by this way,may be it's the problem of defect lists.so can only use this way automately sectors scan to list then regen translator 2B mod to fix,it can be fix well.
