Require compatibility list of WD USB to WD SATA

Hi there,

I am a new user to dolphin data lab forum. I have only recently purchased the PCIE 4X card and i am having good success with imaging etc.

I was sent the WD USB to SATA PCB kit. But i am in need of the compatibility list. i have a wd usb hdd at the moment and need to find its SATA match.

my apoligies if this is not in the right section. trying to work my way around it all.

Hi Larry,

Based on that list. i have a 771754 usb which states that i need 701692 as a compatible sata replacement. the dolphin sata pcb kit that i have has a 771692

do you know if i specifically need 701692 or can i get away with using the 771692 as it fits the drive and looks similar based on other chips etc.

i did a quick google and someone was leaning towards yes but was talking about different sized roms, 256 versus 512

it seems that 701692 is harder to come by while 771692 seems a little more spoken about.
