Find DATE/TIME in .MTS video files - Dananjaya - 01-07-2017 Hello Friends Some video(DSLR) and Photo file have date / time tag which can human visible clearly. (I mean using HEX software - see picture 01). most Sony, Panasonic, canon video cameras are using .MTS video file format. but we can't see the clearly Date and time values. this time and date tag have a lot of value in data recovery. [=16 Here are the steps find the data and time in MTS video file [a you can use 3rd party HEX reading program. and search See the picture.I highlighted in blue and red. after skipping 3 values you can meet the green square. that is the year. yellow box mean month. 19 value is fixed value. no relation with date and time. next blue box mean date. last highlighted purple box shows time tag.
