No HOST FIS-ReadyStatusFlags 2002A1A5" (or 2002A185)
#1
Drive stays BUSY, both N1 and m0 fail (Init SMART Fail / LED CC), regardless of the order / steps taken before.)

In this case the problem is that even if I make the N1 work (by spin-down / spin-up and first doing m0), after rebooting the firmware the same problem occurs.

Can anyone share with your solution?

Hello Sir,

This kind of error message is usually caused by head malfunction, the sa is read only and any change will not be saved and any commands transferring to the hdd don't work at all.

You may consider a donor head swap.

The other reason is caused by firmware failure but we are sorry we don't have one Seagate firmware repair tool right now. We will later release our DFL-ST for detailed firmware corruption diagnosis and repairing. Will keep you updated on this one.

regards

LED CC means that your PCB has to be shorted as you enter into terminal mode in order to continue on. Would be nice if you gave us a little more info on this drive. Depends on the drive make and mode on what terminal commands are used to fix this one. If I tell you to short this and do the Busy fix on this and it is not really one of the Busy drive problems I can have you brick your drive. Please supply a little more info on this one so it would be easier to explain to you what steps can be taken to repair this. Thanks
